Samy's Punch

Ingredients

2 1/2 oz Appleton Estate rum
1 oz lime juice
3/4 oz Spices & honey
Splash of seltzer

Directions

Shake well and pour over ice and top with seltzer.
Garnish with mint and a lemon slice

Sweet and Savory Cauliflour

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 40 Minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

•Preheat the oven to 350°F
•Remove the green outer leaves from the cauliflower and cutthe cauliflower foot to make it flat. It should stand still on its foot on a flat surface.
•In a bowl, mix lemon juice and Samy’s Sauce Spice & honey
and coat the cauliflower head using a brush
•Place the cauliflower head on an oiled cast iron pan or sheettray then bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until tender
•Remove from the oven, season with salt and pepper to
taste, garnish with chopped parsley and chili flakes
(optional)

Sweet and Savory Carrots

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

1 lb carrots
2 tablespoon Samy’ Sauces Honey & Spice (Mild or Spicy)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons cooking white wine.
Salt & pepper to taste
Parsley (for garnish)

Directions

• In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add salt and
then carrots and cook until tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Drain the
carrots.
• In a medium sauté pan on medium heat, sauté the carrots in
olive oil until browned
• Add Samy’ Sauces Spice & Honey, lemon juice and
cooking wine. Cook until a glaze coats the carrots, 5
minutes. Season with salt and pepper and g

Hawaiian Marinated Chicken Thighs

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
4 tablespoons Samy’s Sauces Spice & Honey (Mild or Spicy)
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs

Directions

• In a small bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Add the chicken thighs and coat well with marinade.
Refrigerate, covered, for 8 hours or overnight.
•Drain chicken, discarding marinade.
• Grill chicken, covered, on an oiled rack over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until a
thermometer inserted into chicken reads 170°

Salad Dressing

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Pinch of Kosher salt
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice with the
lemon zest, Samy’s Sauce Honey & Spice, and
thyme.
•Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and
pepper to taste

Roasted Mixed Nuts

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 lb Unsalted mixed nuts
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 tablespoons Spice & Honey (Mild or Spicy)
Pinch of salt

Directions

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a sauce pan on medium heat
-Pour melted butter and Spice & Honey (mild or spicy) over the nuts, and mix well until the nuts arewell coated. Pour nuts on baking sheet, and spread around evenly.
-Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the nuts are fragrant and golden brown. Remove and sprinkle
with salt, and let cool for a few minutes.
**IMPORTANT! As soon as you can handle them safely, break the nuts apart and remove from the
parchment paper onto the pan itself. The nuts will stick to the parchment paper if you let them sit
too long.
